What to expect:

Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Marketing and Online Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will amplify the reach, impact, and efficiency of PPNCS marketing and branding strategies through supporting a variety of patient recruitment, retention, and branding initiatives. This includes projects like building and maintaining systems and efforts to deploy print materials and swag, implementing health center messaging campaigns and branding efforts, and managing online directories to support accurate information and positive online experiences for new and existing patients. Position will leverage strong communications and reporting skills to enhance the understanding of marketing initiatives and impacts, including gathering internal metrics, producing reports, and implementing internal communications strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will provide coordination and support in the development and maintenance of campaigns and initiatives to engage and inform patients, potential patients, and the community about Planned Parenthood’s expert sexual health care and performs other related duties as assigned. The Marketing Coordinator is an advocate in implementing our mission “To affirm the right to reproductive and sexual health and freedom for all by providing excellent care, trusted education, and fierce advocacy”.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Minimal travel will be required for this position to health centers to distribute marketing materials and team meetings.

Responsibilities:

This position will impact us with the following contributions:

  • Support strategies to improve brand cohesion and impact across the organization; Contribute to building positive patient experience through establishing and implementing branding and communication strategies in health centers, communities, and online.
  • Develop and maintain processes for deploying up-to-date marketing and print materials across PPNCS health centers and with external facing outreach staff, including developing consistent communications updates to support this work.
  • Support ordering and distribution of branded promotional items for a variety of initiatives, including supporting distribution at key community events throughout the year.
  • Ensure that health center campaigns are deployed smoothly and include effective and informative communications for streamlined launches.
  • Coordinate the translation of multilingual marketing materials and ad creative.
  • Strengthen understanding of marketing initiatives across the organization through leveraging internal communications channels, writing content, developing presentations, and providing updates to departments.
  • Coordinate the monthly dashboard including pulling and reporting on monthly key indicators for the marketing department. Pull Google Analytics for dashboards, presentations, and other departmental needs.
  • Coordinate grant and gift reporting, including gathering data, and writing narrative to accurately convey progress.
  • Support the Regional Director of Marketing and Online Communications on the development and execution of campaigns and strategies, as well as the general operations and engagement of the Marketing department, including assisting with scheduling and note-taking for key meetings and coding invoices and process contracts in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Keep external online directories up-to-date and maximize platforms to support clear, accurate, and engaging accurate communication about Planned Parenthood’s health services.
  • Serve as a point person for key organizational partners, chambers of commerce and other associations, and the marketing inbox.
  • Support other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year experience with project coordination, project management, operations and/or admin support
  • Demonstrated experience with creating and maintaining systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and creating graphs/charts and other data visualization in Excel
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and creating graphs/charts and other data visualization in Excel.
  • Associates Degree or 2 years’ experience in lieu of a degree
